Due to security reasons and as a consequence of the current conditions of the premises at the check in area in Brussels airport, it is important to take the following into consideration:
– It is necessary to carry a printed document as proof of flying (boarding pass or ticket) in order to access to the departures area.
– Only passengers are allowed in the airport, except for passengers in wheel chair, who can be with a companion.
– It is necessary to carry all pertinent documentation. This includes minors, who will only be allowed to fly if they have an adult as companion.
– Passengers must be at the aiport two hours in advance.
– There is no public transport. Access is permited in taxi or private car.
– It is recommended to travel with the less carry on luggage as possible, as it is mandatory to get through the security controls.
– VIP lounges are closed.
– The office at the airport remains inoperative, so no payment in cash is admitted, only credit cards.
