Madrid, 15 October 2025 – Iberia is expanding its European network for the summer 2026 season with two new destinations: Bucharest (Romania) and Tivat (Montenegro), each with two weekly flights. The additions support the airline’s 2030 Flight Plan, which aims to strengthen Madrid’s role as a hub connecting Europe with the Americas.
The Madrid–Bucharest route will operate Wednesdays and Sundays from 3 June to 30 September 2026, catering to growing tourist demand and offering convenient onward connections to North and Latin America.
The Madrid–Tivat route will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 18 July and 15 September 2026, marking Iberia’s debut in Montenegro and offering a new gateway to the Adriatic coast and the nearby UNESCO-listed city of Kotor.
Iberia will also reinstate popular summer routes to destinations across Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Albania and Slovenia, including Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, Catania, Palermo, Corfu, Mykonos, Santorini, Funchal, Ponta Delgada, Tirana, and Ljubljana.
