British Airways experienced a technical issue at Terminal 5 this afternoon, London Heathrow airport authorities wrote on social media. The airline worked hard to get it resolved, British Airways said, yet delays and flight cancellations will occur for the rest of the day and evening.

Passengers claimed that they have left stranded at London Heathrow airport, delays of over two hours have been reported.

It’s not the first time that British Airways suffers an IT blow. Earlier this year, British Airways canceled all short-haul flights from Heathrow for several hours.
