Today (4 March), British Airways welcomed back its Airbus A319 (G-EUPJ) at London Heathrow, the aircraft has been painted in the colours of the airline’s short-haul predecessor, British European Airways (BEA). The design is the second one in its series of heritage liveries to mark the airline’s centenary.
Brussels Airport plane spotters take note: G-EUPJ is scheduled to operate BA402/3 between London Heathrow and Brussels on Tuesday 5 March 2019 (subject to last-minute changes).
Only a few weeks ago, the first heritage livery – a Boeing 747 in British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) colours – touched down at Heathrow.
British Airways’ third livery will be the iconic Landor design. The next heritage livery to take to the skies on a Boeing 747.
