A pilot working for British Airways has been arrested after allegedly secretly filming sexual encounters with multiple women and posting the footage online without their consent.
According to reports cited by tabloid The Sun, the 31-year-old pilot is suspected of recording intimate encounters with at least 16 women between 2023 and 2025. The recordings were allegedly made without the women’s knowledge and later uploaded to adult websites.
The case came to light after several victims discovered they appeared in explicit videos online. Some cabin crew members reportedly began warning each other about the man’s behaviour after learning of the recordings.
One victim said she only realised what had happened after being informed by a colleague. During the encounter, the suspect allegedly placed a laptop in front of them, claiming he wanted to play music. The screen appeared to be switched off, while the camera indicator light was reportedly covered.
Another woman is said to have discovered several incriminating videos on the pilot’s laptop, showing different women in various hotel rooms. According to a source cited in the reports, some recordings appeared to include uniforms from other airlines, including Virgin Atlantic.
Police confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of voyeurism after a complaint was filed earlier this week. He has since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
Sources within British Airways indicated that the pilot has been temporarily grounded pending the outcome of the investigation, although the airline has not yet issued an official public statement.
