A British Airways flight attendant has made headlines for all the wrong reasons after a bizarre incident on a transatlantic flight from the United States to London. According to British tabloids, the crew member was allegedly under the influence of drugs and was found completely naked, dancing inside a toilet in the business class section.
The incident unfolded mid-flight when one of the stewards, responsible for serving meals, suddenly went missing. His colleagues began searching the aircraft and eventually discovered him in a lavatory in the Club World cabin — naked and behaving erratically.
Fellow crew members quickly dressed him in a spare first-class pyjama set and strapped him into a passenger seat for the remainder of the journey. Police were alerted and met the aircraft upon arrival at Heathrow, where the man was arrested and later received medical attention.
“We believe he may have taken some pills before or during the flight,” one source told the press. “It was extremely unusual behaviour. The aircraft was cruising at 37,000 feet over the Atlantic, but this guy seemed higher than anyone else.”
“Instead of asking passengers if they wanted chicken or beef, he stripped off and started dancing in the lavatory. It took us quite a while to find him, and he was completely out of control.”
“It’s not just incredibly dangerous — it’s also a completely insane way to end your career at British Airways,” the source added. “This job can do strange things to people, but throwing a one-man disco in the Club World toilet is a first for me.”
The crew member has been suspended pending an internal investigation.
