British Airways experienced issues with check-in systems

British Airways experienced some issues with their check-in system this morning and apologised for any inconvenience it has caused. Passengers at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City had to be checked in manually, facing long queues and delays. Only last May British Airways’ IT system was down because an IT contractor accidentally switched of the power supply of the data center.

The fault resolved at about 09:00 BST and its check-in system was operating normally.

This issue is now resolved and our staff are working flat out to help customers get away on their holidays.
