British Airways has unveiled a major expansion of its 2026 summer schedule, boosting long-haul services from London Heathrow and Gatwick to meet growing leisure and business travel demand.

Key highlights include:

  • Bangkok: Upgraded to a year-round route from Gatwick, with three weekly flights in summer and six in winter, adding nearly 60,000 seats. Expanded codeshares with Bangkok Airways will improve connections across Southeast Asia.
  • Jamaica: An additional weekly Gatwick–Kingston service brings flights to four per week, adding over 300 seats weekly.
  • Miami & Dallas: Miami returns to a twice-daily Heathrow service, while Dallas regains daily flights.
  • Las Vegas, San Diego, Austin: More capacity, with Las Vegas rising to 13 weekly flights and San Diego/Austin upgraded to 14 flights per week each.
  • New York JFK: Nine daily flights now exclusively from Heathrow, with enhanced premium cabins on 777-200s.
  • Middle East: Expanded frequencies including daily Bahrain flights, 14 weekly Riyadh and Doha services, and five weekly Jeddah flights.

The carrier also continues to grow its short-haul map, adding Rabat (Morocco) and Graz (Austria) from winter 2025.

Chief Planning and Strategy Officer Neil Chernoff said the changes provide customers with “greater choice and convenience,” strengthening BA’s position on key transatlantic, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern routes.
