British Airways adds three new European routes for Summer 2026

Share

BA Cityflyer, British Airways’ regional subsidiary, is expanding its European network with three new leisure routes for summer 2026, adding flights to Toulon Saint-Tropez in France, Olbia in Sardinia, and San Sebastián in Spain.

The new services — now available for booking — bring BA Cityflyer’s network to nearly 30 destinations across Europe as demand for short-haul summer travel continues to grow.

‘Three fantastic new routes’

“We’re excited to grow our network next year with three fantastic new routes,” said Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer. He highlighted the additional convenience for travellers heading to the French Riviera, Sardinia’s beaches, and northern Spain’s culinary capital.

Route Highlights

London City – Toulon Saint-Tropez (France)

23 May to 1 September 2026 — Tuesdays & Saturdays
BA Cityflyer will fly twice weekly from London City Airport to Toulon Saint-Tropez, the closest airport to the Riviera hotspot. Fares start at £127 each way.
LCY’s fast processing — as little as 15 minutes from kerb to gate — is expected to appeal to leisure travellers.

London Stansted – Olbia (Sardinia)

23 May to 27 September 2026 — Saturdays & Sundays
The airline adds a new summer route from Stansted to Olbia, complementing its London City and Heathrow services. Sardinia has seen a surge in tourism, with overnight stays rising 38% in 2024.
Fares from £127 each way.

Glasgow – San Sebastián (Spain)

18 July to 8 September 2026 — Tuesdays & Saturdays
BA Cityflyer will launch a direct link from Glasgow to San Sebastián, expanding on its existing routes from London City and Edinburgh.
Fares from £113 each way.

Onboard Experience

All flights include a Club Europe cabin, offering priority services, extra baggage, and upgraded meals with full bar service.
