This afternoon, Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus will be revealing its new brand identity. For the occasion, an Airbus A330 has been painted into a new livery and is awaiting the official unveiling inside a hangar at Dublin Airport (more at 12:00 (UTC)). Aer Lingus’ cabin crew members are also expected to receive new uniforms. The re-branding process will take around three years, aiming to be completed by the end of 2022.
A few months ago, Aer Lingus CEO, Stephen Kavanagh, said that the current Aer Lingus livery and uniforms “have been in service for close to 25 years. Our business has changed and we have the opportunity to modernize our brand.”
A YouTube livestream is scheduled for this afternoon 12:30 (UTC)
(Un)fortunately some pictures of the new livery already appeared on social media.
