Passengers were evacuated from an Aer Lingus UK aircraft at Manchester Airport after the flight made an emergency landing due to a technical issue.
Flight EG930/EI030 (Airbus A330-300 reg. G-EILA), operating from Bridgetown, Barbados, to Manchester, landed shortly before 08:00 GMT on Monday. Aer Lingus said the aircraft was met by emergency services as a precaution, and all passengers disembarked safely.
The flight had departed Barbados at around 19:30 GMT on Sunday. No injuries were reported, and the airline did not disclose further details about the technical problem.
