Expanding its portfolio in the ATR operations, IndiGo, largest and fastest growing carrier, announces the introduction of Tiruchirappalli as a new station in the ever-expanding IndiGo network.
With IndiGo being the first airline in India to start four flights from Tiruchirappalli, the ATR will operate
on Tiruchirappalli-Chennai sector. The flights will be operational effective 1st June 2018 with bookings opening with immediate effect.
The introduction of these flights strengthens the ATR operations by connecting the southern cities of Chennai and Tiruchirappalli with all-inclusive fares starting from INR 2499.
Speaking about the latest network expansion, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said,
“At IndiGo, we don’t just take care of our passengers but also strive to make air travel more convenient
by opening more routes. Being already present in Tamil Nadu, our expansion into new sectors is just a
reinforcement that IndiGo is committed to connect passengers of different cities on our 6E network. We
are hopeful that these flights will provide additional choices of air travel to millions of our fellow
citizens.”
