Earlier today, TF-FIR has left the paintshop at Norwich (NWI/EGSH) in the new special colourscheme of Icelandair, featuring “80 years of aviation“. When the aircraft will be back in scheduled service is not known at this moment. After ‘Hekla Aurora‘, this is the second 757 in special colours in the fleet.
Icelandair is celebrating its 80th birthday in 2017. Here you will find the airline’s entire history, beginning with the creation of Flugfélag Akureyrar in 1937.
