Iberia was the world’s most punctual international airline in October according to the air travel consulting firm FlightStats.
With 91.11% of all its flights on time, Iberia has been the world’s most punctual airline for the third time in 2014. The Iberia Group, that also includes Iberia Express and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, was also the first one of this rank in October. In the last 18 months, Iberia’s punctuality rate was above 87%.
Punctuality is a key value for Iberia customers, and the airline has implemented a series of changes in its flight programme and all pre-flight procedures in order to improve the punctuality of its flights.
These changes, combined with newly designed cabin interiors on long-haul aircraft, have served to improve customer’s perceptions of Iberia.
