Hainan Airlines will open a new direct flight between Brussels (BRU) and Chongqing (CKG) starting November 22, 2025, further expanding its Belgium–China network. The airline already connects Brussels with Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.

  • Frequency: 3 round-trip flights weekly — Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
  • Flight time: ~10h50 outbound / ~11h45 return
  • Booking: Available via Hainan Airlines’ website, app, WeChat, hotline (95339), and authorised agents.

With this addition, the carrier will operate 17 weekly flights between Belgium and China, enhancing links to China’s eastern, western, southern, and northern regions. The route supports growing cultural, economic, and trade exchanges between the EU and China.

Chongqing, a major hub in China’s west and a key Belt and Road junction, is already connected by Hainan Airlines to global cities like Paris, Seattle, and Auckland, as well as major Chinese cities for easy onward travel.

Hainan Airlines, the only Skytrax Five-Star airline in mainland China, continues to expand its global network—now exceeding 70 international and regional routes—while maintaining its focus on safety and premium service.
