Gulf Air has announced the launch of two new seasonal leisure routes for summer 2026, adding Málaga in Spain and Al Alamein in Egypt to its growing network. The new services aim to meet rising summer travel demand from Bahrain and across the GCC for Mediterranean and coastal destinations.
Both routes will operate twice weekly via Bahrain International Airport. Flights to Málaga will run from 17 June to 25 September 2026, while services to Al Alamein will operate between 18 June and 30 August 2026. The additions provide direct access to two popular holiday destinations and further strengthen Bahrain’s connectivity as a regional hub.
The new routes form part of Gulf Air’s broader summer 2026 expansion strategy focused on leisure travel. They complement the airline’s previously announced seasonal services to Geneva and Nice, which will operate with a stop in Milan. Bookings for the new destinations are now open across all Gulf Air sales channels.
