GP Aviation eyes Brussels as part of ambitious 2026 summer expansion from Pristina

Pristina-based GP Aviation is preparing a significant network expansion for the 2026 summer season, with Brussels emerging as one of several potential new destinations, according to recent industry reporting. While the airline has not issued an official statement confirming the route, the planned growth signals a renewed push into key European markets.

The prospective Brussels service forms part of a wider expansion list that also includes Bergamo, Bremen, Oslo, Salzburg, and Vienna. If launched, the additions would mark one of GP Aviation’s most substantial network increases to date, strengthening connectivity between Kosovo and major European hubs.

The expansion plans come after a period of adjustment in late 2025, when GP Aviation reduced frequencies on several existing services amid growing competition in the region. Those reductions, however, appear unrelated to the airline’s 2026 ambitions, which indicate confidence in rising demand and an evolving market landscape.

Should GP Aviation proceed with its proposed Brussels launch, travellers from Kosovo would gain a new direct option to one of Europe’s most important political and economic centres—further solidifying Pristina’s role as a developing regional aviation hub.

The airline, which currently operates two Boeing 737-400s, has not yet commented publicly on the timeline or operational details for any of the proposed routes, although a provisional schedule has been published as follows:

  • Pristina – Salzburg 2/7 from 29.3.26
  • Pristina – Brussels 2/7 from 30.3.26
  • Pristina – Vienna 7/7 from 30.3.26
  • Pristina – Bergamo 1/7 from 3.4.26
  • Pristina – Bremen 1/7 from 2.7.26
