On 9 October, a GazpromAvia (Mars Avia) Antonov An-74T-100 (RA-74008) operated a flight from an unknown destination towards Mogadishu Airport, Somalia. During approach, the pilots learned that they couldn’t extend the aircraft’s landing gear.
After working the checklists, the crew declared emergency, prepared for a gear up landing with emergency services on stand by and landed on the belly of the aircraft. There were no injuries, the damage to the aircraft is being assessed.
