Fly Jamaica Airways Boeing 757 to Toronto returns and crash lands at Georgetown Airport

On 9 November, a Fly Jamaica Airways Boeing 757-200 (N524AT) from Georgetown Airport, Guyana to Toronto Pearson Airport, Canada as OJ256 returned to its airport of departure due to a technical problem. The aircraft, however, suffered from an accident on landing. Fly Jamaica confirmed that 112 passengers and 8 crew members remained safe but six passengers got injured. The airline is providing local assistance and will release further information as soon as it is available.
