Finnair flights will face significant disruptions on June 17 and 19 due to industrial action by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) at Helsinki Airport. The four-hour strikes will heavily impact Finnair’s ground services, likely resulting in the cancellation of most of its 600+ daily flights on those days. Surrounding dates may also be affected.
Affected customers can reschedule their flights free of charge to an earlier date or until the end of August. Changes can be made via Finnair’s Manage Booking service or by contacting customer service.
Finnair will begin cancelling flights two days in advance, and affected passengers will be notified with rebooking options or a refund. A separate strike on June 11 is expected to have minimal impact, with flights operating as scheduled.
