Finnair will cancel around 100 flights on Monday, 5 May, due to a four-hour industrial action by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) at Helsinki Airport.
The strike, affecting key services like ground handling and cargo operations, is expected to disrupt flights throughout the day, impacting about 7,500 passengers. Affected customers will be rebooked on alternative flights, with updated itineraries available via Finnair’s website or mobile app.
Finnair advises travellers to ensure their contact details are current and to prepare for possible baggage handling delays. A similar strike is planned for 16 May, with potential further disruptions.
