Finnair will operate a record 25 weekly flights to Thailand during the winter 2026 season, marking its strongest-ever schedule to the country.
The carrier will increase flights to Bangkok to 18 per week, four more than the current season, with up to three daily services from Helsinki. The new daily night flight will arrive in Bangkok in the afternoon, offering smooth same-day connections, while the return flight departs late at night and arrives in Helsinki in time for early morning connections across Finnair’s European network.
Finnair will also reinstate direct flights to Krabi, southern Thailand, for the first time since 2019. The route will operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, offering travellers access to the region’s beaches, limestone cliffs, and outdoor activities.
“Thailand is undoubtedly one of our most popular long-haul winter destinations,” said Perttu Jolma, Vice President of Network Management at Finnair. “Up to three daily flights to Bangkok meet the ever-growing demand, and the capacity is significant even by European standards. Krabi offers an attractive alternative to Phuket for those seeking a quieter beach holiday.”
In addition to Bangkok and Krabi, Finnair will continue flying to Phuket five times a week next winter.
