Finnair will cancel approximately 100 flights on July 2 due to planned industrial action by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, disrupting essential ground services. Around 7,000 passengers will be impacted.
Affected customers will be contacted directly starting June 30, with updates available via Finnair’s Manage Booking service and mobile app. Passengers can accept rerouted options, request a refund, or reschedule their trip at no extra cost.
Additional strikes are planned for July 4, 7, 16, 18, 21, and 23. Customers booked on July 4 or 7 are encouraged to rebook now, with more dates changeable through September. Finnair warns that disruptions on later dates may be less severe but are still being evaluated.
