Finnair adds several new direct flights to connect travelers to three winter destinations of Northern Finland ? Kittilä, Kuusamo and Ivalo ? for winter season 2016?2017.
Kittilä, Kuusamo and Ivalo attract thousands of tourists every year, offering a range of winter activities from ice fishing, sighting of Northern Lights and skiing to husky safaris and reindeer sleigh rides. Finnair connects travellers via Helsinki to Kittilä, Kuusamo and Ivalo with several weekly connections, and timetables designed to support smooth connections from Europe and Asia.
“We see increasing demand from both Europe and Asia to the winter resorts of Kittilä, Kuusamo and Ivalo, with a capacity of almost 140 000 seats for the winter season 2016?2017 to these destinations“, says Petri Vuori, Vice President for Network Planning at Finnair.
