Fiji Airways is ramping up its North American expansion with increased flights to Vancouver and a broader codeshare agreement with British Airways, enhancing connectivity between Canada, the UK and the South Pacific.
From 16 June 2026, the airline will operate three weekly flights year-round between Nadi and Vancouver, with additional seasonal capacity during peak periods. The route is becoming a key pillar of Fiji Airways’ long-haul network, driven by rising demand from the Canadian market.
In parallel, the airline is extending its partnership with British Airways to include the Vancouver–Nadi route, allowing passengers to book seamless itineraries between the United Kingdom and Fiji via Vancouver under a British Airways flight code. The move builds on existing codeshare links across major hubs including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The expansion is part of Fiji Airways’ broader strategy to strengthen its role as a gateway to the South Pacific, supported by its membership in the oneworld alliance and integration with American Airlines’ AAdvantage loyalty programme.
Passengers on the Vancouver route will also benefit from the airline’s upgraded “World Class” service standard, recently recognised among the top 10 airlines globally at the APEX 2026 awards.
With additional seasonal adjustments planned across other destinations such as Auckland and Hong Kong, Fiji Airways is continuing to scale its international network while targeting higher service quality and improved global connectivity.
