EVA Air is upholding its high standards for safety and service and continuing its winning ways to take the top spot in “World’s Best Airport Services” of SKYTRAX’s annual World Airline Award categories.
In addition, SKYTRAX recognized EVA’s ongoing commitment to quality service as one of only eleven 5-Star Airlines worldwide and ranked it among the World’s Top 10 Airlines of 2018. SKYTRAX revealed its 2018 World Airline Awards in London.
Service quality improvement has always been firmly embedded as EVA’s priority. From airport check-in to inflight service, EVA strives for perfection in every detail. As advancing technologies have created new pathways for innovation and continual improvements in the passenger experience, EVA has introduced new comforts and conveniences. For example, EVA’s official website and APP for mobile devices enable passengers to save time at the airport by selecting seats and checking in ahead of time.
EVA regularly works with well-known brands to create new service items and inflight products such as Natural Benefits cold-pressed mango mixed juice, France’s PAUL pound cake and SEASON Cuisine Pâtissiartism Neige cake. Especially for Royal Laurel Class business passengers, EVA has introduced “California Blue” RIMOWA and Georg Jensen leather amenity kits for long-haul flights to and from Taipei, Taiwan. EVA collaborated with London-Based “APUJAN” to design new pajamas and make its flights even more comfortable. It also has improved and updated service items in Premium Economy Class, starting with new food and beverage menus designed by JL Design.

Between August 2017 and May 2018, 20.36 million travelers, representing more than 100 nationalities, responded in English, Spanish and Chinese on 49 survey topics, including airport and onboard environments. The global ratings organization describes the survey as “independent, impartial and global” and its awards program is not-for-profit.The annual World Airline Awards are among the most respected in the airline industry.
