Etihad Airways recorded another month of strong growth in September 2025, carrying 1.9 million passengers, a 21% increase compared to the same month last year. The airline’s load factor rose to 89%, up one percentage point, reflecting efficient capacity management and sustained demand across its expanding network.
For the first nine months of 2025, Etihad has flown 16.1 million passengers, up 18% year-to-date, supported by an enlarged operating fleet of 115 aircraft and services to 82 passenger destinations.
CEO Antonoaldo Neves said the results highlight “clear momentum and focused execution” as Etihad continues to grow its network while maintaining high load factors and reliable operations. He added that the figures demonstrate both the airline’s disciplined expansion strategy and Abu Dhabi’s strengthening role as a global travel hub.
