Etihad Airways will make aviation history by becoming the first Middle Eastern airline to serve Luxembourg, launching the only nonstop connection between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi from 29 October 2026. The new route will operate three times weekly, strengthening direct links between the Benelux region and the UAE.
Flights will be operated with Etihad’s Airbus A321LR, offering a premium three-class configuration that includes First Suites, lie-flat Business Class seats with direct aisle access, and next-generation Economy cabins equipped with 4K screens, Bluetooth connectivity and onboard Wi-Fi. This marks the first time such a premium narrowbody product will be available on services to Luxembourg.
The route is designed to meet growing demand from Luxembourg and neighbouring markets in Belgium, France and Germany, while enhancing connectivity for both business and leisure travellers. Passengers will gain direct access to Abu Dhabi and seamless onward connections via Zayed International Airport to destinations across Asia, the Indian subcontinent and beyond.
Etihad says the new service will deepen economic, cultural and tourism ties between Europe and the UAE, while further expanding the airline’s European network. Flights are already on sale.
