Etihad Airways will further strengthen its presence at Brussels Airport by increasing its Brussels–Abu Dhabi service from seven to 11 weekly flights from 15 December 2026.
In addition to its existing daily service, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier will introduce four additional weekly rotations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The additional flights will be operated by Etihad’s new Airbus A321LR, configured with 160 seats across three cabin classes: two First Suites, 14 Business Class seats and 144 Economy Class seats.
The additional outbound flight, EY55, will leave Abu Dhabi at 14:25 and arrive in Brussels at 19:00. The return service, EY56, will depart Brussels at 20:50 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 06:45 the following morning.
Etihad’s existing daily EY57/EY58 service will continue, departing Abu Dhabi at 02:15 and Brussels at 09:55, respectively.
The increase to 11 weekly frequencies will give passengers greater scheduling flexibility while improving connections through Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub to destinations across Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Australia.
The expansion comes as Etihad continues to grow its European network and deploy the A321LR on thinner long-haul routes, allowing the airline to add frequencies while offering its three-class premium product.
