Etihad Airways has inaugurated service to Atlanta, marking it as the airline’s fifth U.S. destination after New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Boston. The new route launched on 2 July with four weekly flights and will expand to daily service by November 2025 due to strong early demand.
Flights are operated with Etihad’s next-generation Airbus A350-1000, featuring private Business Suites with sliding doors, fully flat beds, and advanced entertainment options. Economy passengers benefit from ergonomic seats, large touchscreens, and complimentary in-flight messaging.
The route strengthens connectivity between the U.S. Southeast and Abu Dhabi, offering seamless travel with U.S. Preclearance at Zayed International Airport, allowing passengers to arrive in the U.S. as domestic travellers.
Etihad aims to serve both leisure and business travellers, inviting U.S. guests to explore Abu Dhabi’s rich culture, beaches, theme parks, and cuisine. CEO Antonoaldo Neves called Atlanta a “key market,” praising the strong booking response and growth potential.
