Ethiopian Airlines has inaugurated a new passenger service between Addis Ababa and Mauritius, further expanding its African network and strengthening connectivity across the continent.
The new route, launched on 12 July 2026, will operate three times a week, linking Mauritius with Ethiopian Airlines’ hub in Addis Ababa and providing onward connections to destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
The airline said the new service will enhance travel options while supporting tourism, trade and economic ties between Ethiopia and Mauritius. The addition of Mauritius also reinforces Ethiopian Airlines’ strategy of expanding intra-African connectivity and improving access between Africa and the rest of the world.
Passengers on the route will benefit from the airline’s modern fleet, award-winning onboard service and seamless connections through Addis Ababa as Ethiopian continues to grow its position as one of Africa’s leading network carriers.
