On Thursday 19 April 2018, the largest commercial aircraft in the world visited Brussels Airport for a one-off operation to test the infrastructure and the newly erected A380 gate. A massive audience awaited the arrival of A6-EUG, one of the many Emirates Airlines Airbus A380s, at the newly build plane spotting platform next to Brussels Airport, but Aviation24.be was also invited for a static visit. In the A380 one special first-class passenger: Bram Botterman! The aviation24.be team member boarded an Emirates Airlines Boeing 777 towards Dubai (business class) a few days before the A380-arrival.
Flor Pua, Miss Belgium 2018, was also present at the event. Her absolute dream is to become an Airbus A380 pilot.
