Emirates will introduce a daily, year-round direct service between Dubai and Helsinki from 1 October 2026, creating the only nonstop air link between Finland and the UAE and expanding the airline’s Nordic network.
The route will be operated by Emirates’ new Airbus A350, offering Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, and bringing the carrier’s latest onboard products to Finland from day one. Flights are scheduled to provide seamless onward connections via Dubai to more than 150 destinations, including major cities across Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean and Australia.
Emirates said the service responds to strong existing demand between Helsinki and Dubai, currently served via indirect connections, and is expected to stimulate further growth in both leisure and corporate travel. The airline also highlighted Finland’s appeal as a year-round destination and its growing ties with the UAE in sectors such as technology, sustainability and advanced manufacturing.
In addition to passenger traffic, the route will support cargo flows between the two countries. Each flight will offer up to 16 tonnes of bellyhold capacity, with anticipated exports including pharmaceuticals, electronics, machinery, perishables and other high-value goods.
Tickets are now available via emirates.com and travel agents.
