Emirates has announced a landmark partnership with world No. 1 tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, appointing the four-time Grand Slam champion as the airline’s first-ever tennis ambassador. The agreement reinforces Emirates’ long-standing commitment to the sport as the Official Airline of all four Grand Slam tournaments.
To mark the partnership, Sabalenka unveiled an Emirates Airbus A380 featuring a special tennis-inspired livery that celebrates the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open. Dubai, which has served as a key training base for Sabalenka, underlines the natural alignment between the player and the airline.
The partnership follows a dominant period in Sabalenka’s career, including a second US Open title last year, back-to-back Australian Open wins in 2023 and 2024, and consecutive WTA Tour Player of the Year awards. Sabalenka said the collaboration reflects shared values of excellence, attention to detail and ambition, while also highlighting the growing impact of women in global sport.
Emirates said Sabalenka embodies the qualities that resonate with its brand and that the partnership will enable new fan-focused experiences, from tennis content on its in-flight entertainment system to sport-inspired onboard offerings. The deal further strengthens Emirates’ extensive global sports sponsorship portfolio, in which tennis remains a cornerstone.
