This image shows five wines from Emirates’ latest Premium Economy selection: Cuvée Sabourin Picpoul de Pinet 2024, Domaine de la Baume Tautavel 2023, Wiston Estate Brut NV, La Parde de Haut-Bailly 2014 and Chablis Premier Cru Jean-Marc Brocard 2024. At the centre is Wiston Estate Brut NV, Emirates’ first English sparkling wine, which will be served exclusively in Premium Economy on UK routes from October.

Emirates is rolling out a new selection of Champagnes and wines across its global network, including rare vintages in First Class and the airline’s first English sparkling wine in Premium Economy.

The carrier has invested more than USD 1 billion in its wine programme since 2006. Its cellars in France hold around five million bottles, many purchased years before service and matured until reaching their preferred drinking window.

First Class additions include Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017 across the global network later this year. Château Mouton Rothschild 2003 will be offered on UK routes from October, while Penfolds RWT Shiraz 2015 will appear on Australasian services from late September. Other regional selections include Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2015, Le Petit Cheval Blanc 2023, Seña 2016 and Vilafonté Series C 2016.

Business Class passengers on US routes can currently sample La Dame de Montrose 2014, while a Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 will be introduced on East Asian services from late September.

In Premium Economy, Emirates will add Chablis Premier Cru Jean-Marc Brocard 2024 in September and La Parde de Haut-Bailly 2014 in October. Wiston Estate Brut NV will become the airline’s first English sparkling wine, served exclusively on UK routes from October. Australian sparkling wine Chandon 2021 remains a global Emirates exclusive.

Economy Class is also receiving a refreshed collection of French and South African wines, including Domaine de la Baume Tautavel 2023, Château Pech-Latt Corbières 2024, Cuvée Sabourin Picpoul de Pinet 2024 and Journey’s End Weather Station Sauvignon Blanc 2025.

Emirates selects wines partly for how their flavours perform at altitude. Bordeaux wines intended for Business Class are generally matured for eight to ten years, while First Class selections may age for 12 to 15 years before being served.
