Emirates expands A380 and Premium Economy network across India

Share

Emirates will significantly enhance its India operations from 25 October 2026, introducing its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Delhi route, making the Indian capital the airline’s third A380 destination in the country after Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The expansion also marks the full rollout of Premium Economy on all four daily Dubai–Delhi flights. By the end of October, the cabin will be available to passengers travelling to six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi.

In another fleet upgrade, the daily Dubai–Kolkata service will switch from a Boeing 777 to the Airbus A350, while additional retrofitted Boeing 777 flights will ensure Premium Economy is available on all 12 weekly services to Kolkata.

Beyond fleet enhancements, Emirates is investing in the customer experience with new retail travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai, additional outlets planned for Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and a dedicated call centre in Mumbai. The airline also continues to tailor its onboard service for Indian travellers with regional cuisine, multilingual cabin crew and extensive Indian-language entertainment.

Emirates currently operates 167 weekly flights to nine destinations in India, connecting the country to its global network of nearly 140 destinations via Dubai.
