Emirates Airline Airbus A380 goes around at Manchester, declares fuel emergency and diverts to London Heathrow

On 4 September, an Emirates Airline Airbus A380 (A6-EVA) operated flight EK19 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Manchester, United Kingdom. The aircraft performed a go-around at Manchester due to adverse weather conditions but was unable to hold around the airport due to fuel reasons. The pilots declared a fuel mayday and decided to divert to London Heathrow.

On 5 September, the aircraft left London Heathrow for a return to Dubai.

  1. I have been informed the flight to Manchester (landed in London) which was scheduled at 21:40 has been cancelled. What is the update on getting the passengers to their destination. How will this happen?
