El Al Israel Airlines is continuing its policy of strengthening its Israel-US business and will launch flights between Tel Aviv and Chicago in 2020.
Opening the new route will become possible when El Al takes delivery of more Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The Israeli carrier has received eight of the 16 Dreamliners it ordered and more will be delivered over the next year.
While details are still very limited, Israeli business publication Globes has confirmed the new service.
El Al declined to comment on the report.
