Some debris of Egyptair Airbus A320 flight MS804 have finally been located. The Egyptian Army says it has found parts of the aircraft and personal belongings of passengers in the Mediterranean Sea, 290 km  north of Alexandria, according to military spokesman Brig. Gen. Mohammad Samir. Egyptian authorities found luggage, a seat and a body part during the search for an EgyptAir jet which plunged into the Mediterranean, Greece’s defence minister Panos Kammenos told reporters in Athens.

Yesterday contradictory information has been circulated. After Egyptair Vice-president said that the Airbus had been found, the Greek authorities said that the debris that had been found did not belong to an aircraft.

The Egyptian teams are working together with Greece, France, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Italy.

The authorities of these countries have lost all hope to retrieve survivors, and Egyptair has unofficially recognised that all the passengers and crew have perished in the crash by sending its condolences to their families.
