EGYPTAIR has received the 8th aircraft of Boeing’s New Generation 737-800, said Safwat Musallam, CEO and Chairman of EGYPTAIR Holding Co.

The aircraft becomes the 28th of the same type of Boeing among other types of aircraft, it is also the 68th aircraft of the total number of EGYPTAIR fleet, he added.

Musallam made clear the company plans to add 33 different types of aircraft and manufacturers as part of its fleet modernization plan. He added the plan includes short-, medium- and long-haul aircraft. The Egyptian flag carrier’s 737-800s are configured with 16 business and 138 economy seats.

The aircraft is well-equipped and furnished with state-of-the-art technology that provides passengers with a comfortable and entertaining flight.

The 737 delivers the superior reliability, fuel efficiency and high-value returns operators require in today’s competitive market. Its exceptional versatility and lower maintenance and operating costs provide a competitive edge regardless of business model or market. A competitive edge that enables profitable growth. All this plus the newest passenger cabin design in its class to ensure a flying experience that exceeds expectations.
