EgyptAir will begin year-round flights between Stockholm Arlanda and Cairo International Airport on 18 December 2026.
The route will operate four times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays using a 182-seat Airbus A321neo configured with business and economy cabins.
The new service will improve direct connectivity between Sweden and Egypt for business, leisure and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic. It will also provide onward connections through EgyptAir’s Cairo hub to destinations across the Middle East and Africa.
Swedavia said the launch reflects confidence in the Swedish air travel market and supports its objective of strengthening Stockholm’s international connectivity.
