easyJet’s statement on Sharm el Sheikh flights

easyJet operated two flights from Sharm el Sheikh to the UK on 6 November which meant that 359 passengers arrived home this evening.  We are being advised by the Egyptian authorities that it will allow a restricted number of UK flights from Sharm el Sheikh tomorrow, two of which are easyJet flights to London Luton. This will allow us to bring another 445 passengers home tomorrow.

The two flights are as follows:
EZY9767 Sharm el Sheikh to London Luton departing at 17:00 local time in Egypt
EZ9320 Sharm el Sheikh to London Luton departing at 18:00 local time in Egypt
We currently have around 4000 passengers in Sharm el Sheikh, 1000 of which have been delayed to date. We will continue to work with the Egyptian authorities and the UK Government to get our customers back home as soon as possible.
Whilst this is outside of our control we would like to apologise to customers for the delay. All customers will be provided with hotel accommodation and we are keeping them informed.  We would advise passengers also to check Flight Tracker for updates.
