British low-cost carrier easyJet will introduce a new direct flight between Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Rovaniemi, Finland, starting December 2026. This marks the first time Rovaniemi Airport will offer scheduled service to Belfast.
The new route will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
easyJet will fly to Rovaniemi from 15 European cities next winter, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Milan, London, and now Belfast.
Finavia’s Director of Route Development, Petri Vuori, emphasised the importance of airline partnerships in supporting Lapland’s growing tourism industry, adding that improved air connectivity will further boost international travel to the region during the winter season.
