An easyJet flight from Glasgow to Jersey was forced to turn back shortly after take-off on March 29 due to what the airline initially described as an “extraordinary circumstance.”
Flight EZY439 departed as scheduled but returned to Glasgow Airport within minutes. The airline later clarified that the diversion was caused by a cabin crew member requiring medical assistance.
The aircraft landed safely and was met by medical teams. easyJet stated that passenger safety and crew wellbeing remain its top priority and confirmed plans to resume the journey later the same day, while apologising for the disruption.
