easyJet has announced three new summer 2026 routes from the UK, strengthening connectivity from Newcastle and Manchester to popular destinations in Italy and Portugal. Tickets are now on sale, with one-way fares starting from £33.99, alongside package holidays offered through easyJet holidays.
From its new base in Newcastle, easyJet will launch twice-weekly flights to Rome Fiumicino from 30 March 2026, timed for the Easter travel period, and twice-weekly flights to Lisbon from 22 June 2026. Both routes will operate on Mondays and Fridays, targeting city-break and leisure travellers.
In addition, easyJet will introduce a new Manchester–Bari route from 3 July 2026, also operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, opening up southern Italy to northern England with direct services.
All three destinations will be available via easyJet holidays, with packages including flights and hotels, and selected options such as 23kg luggage and transfers for Bari beach breaks. The airline highlighted that the expansion forms part of its largest-ever UK summer programme, offering more than 50 million seats during its 30th anniversary year.
easyJet now serves 22 UK airports, operating over 640 routes to more than 140 destinations, reinforcing its focus on choice, affordability and leisure connectivity.
