Delta Air Lines has signed a codeshare agreement with Transavia. Through this partnership, the US airline can increase its offer in Europe. Passengers on Delta Air Lines can now switch to a dozen Transavia destinations in Amsterdam.
The US carrier provides up to 19 round trips per day from the United States to Amsterdam Schiphol. Passengers can already select a series of connecting flights on KLM to destinations within or outside Europe. Now they can connect to four additional destinations on Transavia: Alicante, Thessaloniki, Seville and Marrakech.
“This agreement complements our already extensive network of codeshare services offered via Amsterdam with our partner KLM” said Nat Pieper, senior vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Delta Air Lines. “It opens the possibility to fly with Delta to additional Transavia destinations in the future.”
