Delta Air Lines will launch its first nonstop service to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in October 2026, connecting its Atlanta hub (ATL) to the Saudi capital (RUH) three times per week. Operated with the Airbus A350-900, the new route marks Delta’s debut in the Kingdom and a major step in its global expansion strategy.
“Launching service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we start our second century of flight,” said Ed Bastian, Delta CEO. “Our new flights will connect customers to this dynamic, fast-growing region while delivering the care, comfort and reliability they expect.”
The new route supports growing U.S.–Saudi economic and tourism ties under Vision 2030, positioning Riyadh as a global hub for business and innovation. Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb welcomed the announcement, calling it a “significant milestone in strengthening global connectivity between our nations.”
Passengers will experience Delta’s full suite of onboard products, including Delta One® lie-flat suites, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin, with amenities designed by Missoni and fast, free Wi-Fi via Delta Sync.
At over 7,000 miles, the Atlanta–Riyadh service will be among Delta’s longest routes, offering Saudi travellers one-stop access to 150+ U.S. cities and expanding Delta’s global reach alongside upcoming new destinations such as Marrakech, Melbourne, Sardinia, Porto, Hong Kong, and Malta.
