2-DEER, the most luxurious Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and operated by Chinese aviation company Deerjet (Chinese conglomerate HNA Group) is for sale, several aviation specialists told press agency Reuters.

The aircraft – hosting up to 40 passengers in an exclusive setting – is the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that has been specifically designed as a BBJ and is used by several heads of state and government, as well as the top HNA officials. Recently, the aircraft visited Brussels Airport for the ASEM summit (18-19 October) and the aircraft also dropped by back in June.

This exclusive Boeing 787 BBJ isn’t exactly cheap. The base Boeing 787-8 carries a list price of $224.6 million, and another $100 million with the modifications. It is questionable that the company can sell this plane for an acceptable price as the second hand market for widebody private aircraft is very limited.
