Corendon is ramping up operations in Germany, with major expansions planned at Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn airports. From 2026, the tour operator expects to carry more than 1.2 million travellers via the two hubs, making Düsseldorf its largest departure airport.
The move follows strong demand from Dutch holidaymakers, with departures from Düsseldorf up more than 40% in the past five years. “Our customers decide where we fly, and more and more are choosing Germany for its lower costs and accessibility,” said Commercial Director Martin de Boer.
While Amsterdam Schiphol and Brussels remain key airports, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn will serve as strategic gateways for both Dutch and Belgian travellers. Starting April 2026, Corendon will operate flights to Mediterranean hotspots, including Turkey, Egypt, and Greece, with the full network to be announced.
