Yesterday, the first Corendon travellers left from Amsterdam Schiphol to Natal in Brazil, Corendon’s newest distant destination. Flight CND8811 landed in Natal at 15:40 local time and the direct connection Amsterdam-Natal was officially inaugurated.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft registered PH-CDE was welcomed with a water salute from the airport fire department. The governor and the mayor of Natal were present.
Corendon flies to Natal every Sunday until end December, and every Thursday from January. A nine-day vacation to Brazil – including a return flight, transfer and breakfast – can be booked from just € 549 per person.
Direct from Amsterdam to Brazil in eleven hours
Brazil is the first long-haul destination that Corendon carries out with its own aircraft. A fuel stop is made in Tenerife or Banjul after approximately 4.5 hours. The aircraft then flies to Brazil in 6.5 hours. A free meal and drink are included in both the outbound and return flight. In addition, it is possible to order drinks or snacks from the a-la-carte menu for a fee during the flight.
Sparkling Natal
Corendon offers 19 attractive accommodations in bustling Natal, on the east coast of the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The accommodations are located in the towns of Via Costeira, Ponta Negra, Tibau do Sul and Pipa, and are characterised by their location on the beautiful golden beaches. Corendon also offers various excursions; from adventurous boat trips to bustling Brazilian evenings.
